SPECIAL MISSION – THE LIE

The painting shows the beginning of the war in Ukraine, started by Putin named “special mission” which ended up being a lie. Ukraine was being attacked during the night, cities and civilians being shot at. I used the dart board as a metaphor for Russia’s main point of interest. Kiev.

The Russian troops also wished to conquer Odessa, which I represented in the bottom left of my painting. Cocoon is wearing the Ukrainian uniform , symbolizing a national savior.
